  • Director of Supply Chain

    Circ is looking for an ambitious, dynamic, self driven Director of Supply Chain. We are looking for someone with a great work ethic of loyalty, integrity, pride, perseverance, accountability, respect and teamwork.

    This opportunity reports to the Chief Business Officer. In this role you will be responsible for mapping the supply and availability feedstock to support the first Circ facility. You will be responsible for negotiating with brands and supply chain partners for their waste.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
    • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for 10+ years
    • Critical thinker with advanced problem-solving skills
    • Experience designing, negotiating, and executing multi-million dollar contracts
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • Customer relationship management experience
    • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and takes initiative to design internal processes and programs
    • Previous experience (or the mindset) working in a startup environment is preferred
    • Previous experience working in the fashion supply chain and/or with fashion brands is preferred

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Director of Supply Chain can expect to perform some of or all of the following:

    • Work with the Corporate Development team to build and maintain good relationships with feedstock vendors
    • Manage inbound queries to build out a vendor database
    • Organize a feedstock supply study for the first commercial facility and follow on facilities
    • Negotiate terms and secure feedstock supply for the first facility from vendors (supply chain, brands, and waste aggregators)
    • Secure intermittent feedstock for ongoing pilot trials and capsule collections
    • Monitor market activity and conduct feedstock pricing studies
    • Liaise with operations teammates and third parties to manage feedstock logistics throughout the supply chain
    • Design and execute Circ’s supply chain strategy, including definition of critical KPIs
    • Suggest solutions for process improvements
    • Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
    • General business activities supporting the Chief Business Officer

  • Program Director of Engineering

    Opportunity

    We are looking for a Director of Engineering for one of our three core processes to oversee the engineering activities of the assigned systems and help us build our first-of-kind state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You will also manage the project management activities for the process and equipment to ensure all engineering activities are done at the highest quality and safe to operate securely and effectively with the entire integrated operation for the successful startup of the new manufacturing site.

    To be successful in this role, you should be confident managing our internal and external teams while, at the same time, setting goals, budgets, and timelines for various phases of the integrated project to completion. We also expect you to oversee assigned engineering development for the design and installation of various equipment from FEL (Front End Loading)/FEED Design to final execution and successful start-up.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or a related field
    • Ten (10) or more years design experience including project management, supervision, and client relationships
    • Demonstrated experience reading Engineering drawings and construction plans and using computer applications and design software
    • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting/3D modeling software tools is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in working effectively with suppliers engineering, and internal staff members
    • Ability to collaborate and facilitate agreements effectively with suppliers and engineering firms
    • Work experience in project management, engineering design, or a similar senior-level position at an engineering department including design and installation of a new manufacturing site
    • Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end engineering design development and construction management
    • Good understanding of agile engineering design methodologies
    • Leadership abilities with a strategic mind with excellent project management skills are highly desired.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee front-end and back-end development of engineering activities of our vendors and suppliers
    • Monitor reliability and performance of all engineering deliverables aligned with the best engineering practices to ensure safety and reliability of the design
    • Manage from basic design (Front End development) to design, construction and start up activities of the equipment and processes by setting requirements, safety, budget, quality, and timelines for assigned process, equipment and system/s
    • Monitor and provide technical inputs to the suppliers and engineering contractors based on the company’s overall objectives of success, project delivery, and operational requirements
    • Support and help in hiring engineering disciplines and coordinate their onboarding and training
    • Coordinate with external engineering firms and equipment suppliers for new integrations and tools
    • Review and update engineering procedures and processes relevant to the integrated systems and equipment
    • Assist in developing manufacturing site in planning rearrangement of plant layout, equipment, and operations for better utilization of space
    • Work closely with Circ engineering and technology / manufacturing personnel to prevent problems with products and equipment with the ability to manage and provide oversight to internal / external engineering personnel
    • Stay informed concerning new manufacturing technologies and equipment to support design and installation of equipment and reduce cost through efficiencies
    • Determine and eliminate root causes and diminish occurrences of issues in the equipment supplier and engineering vendors
    • Plan and direct activities of department staff including scheduling and monitoring budgets and quality of work
    • Communicate effectively with suppliers, internal project team, sub-consultants, and contractors

  • Senior Accountant

    Circ is looking for an initiative-taking, process-oriented, Senior Accountant to join our team. The role’s primary focus is on the day-to-day recording and accuracy of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will show flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments and work in a fast-paced environment with a positive can-do attitude.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
    • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
    • Demonstrated experience in MS Office, and other software applications such as Quickbooks, Netsuite, Bill.com/Airbase, Divvy, Expensify, PO systems.
    • ERP implementation experience is a PLUS
    • Physical inventory, cycle count program, and fixed asset inventory experience is a plus
    • Self-motivated planning and organization skills; ability to handle concurrent tasks, meet deadlines, and accurately communicate progress

  • Engineering Document Control Manager

    We are looking for a Document Control Manager who is highly motivated and passionate about managing design engineering systems and product-supporting documentation for the Front-End loading (FEL) and detail design for a new to-be-built manufacturing site.

    You will also oversee the proper filing of the engineering activities for our engineering department and ensure all engineering documentation activities are filed within a proven quality management process and standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Quality of Management System (QMS), Quality Document Management function in the chemical/Petrochemical, biochemical, renewable energy sector, or another regulated industry

    Responsibilities

    The Document Control Manager will be expected to:

    • Serve as the Document Control reviewer, ensuring documents/records and changes comply with established procedures and requirements of the Circ Engineering department and ensuring change elements are identified, compliant, and assembled for review and approval
    • Promptly process Document/Engineering Change Requests and Change Orders (DCR, DCO, ECR, ECO) in compliance with Document and Record Control processes
